The story of Dear Architects began during my tenure as VP of Architecture at DAZN.
What started as a simple weekly survey for my team evolved into something much more significant. To add value to our interactions, I began sharing my weekly readings, which sparked engaging lunch & learn sessions and thought-provoking exchanges. This constant flow of information and ideas not only strengthened our team but also generated innovative approaches to evolve our platform.
In 2019, inspired by a team member's suggestion, I expanded this knowledge-sharing beyond our immediate circle, launching Dear Architects as a weekly newsletter.
Initially, my goal was simply to enjoy meaningful discussions with architects worldwide. Little did I know that this humble beginning would blossom into a vibrant, global community of passionate architects.
The growth of Dear Architects has been nothing short of remarkable. From unexpected encounters in Seattle elevators to train platforms in York, the newsletter has fostered connections that transcend digital boundaries.
